History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting drow, the young Elegant began to lead the lost caravan. After a long history of fighting, Elegant and her spouse have recently divorced.
