History: She comes from a rich northern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Shautha was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.
