History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Tordrid is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tordrid does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Damaia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and balancing her hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
