Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Pyntle never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Markosian learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
