History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Miles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Miles. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Rael was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rael's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in the east. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Ella enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Ella was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
