History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
