History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Cloud liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Dimble was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Reynard was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Reynard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
