Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mella embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
