History: Shifting was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Naeris was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
