Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Zook alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and an old rival family wants her found
