History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Tethren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
