History: Born in the west to a Detective, Hubert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Rose's homeland. Rose decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
