Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emma is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nija does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Apothecary but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with her Miner mother left her crippled. She has achieved small success as a Apothecary.
