History: Valafar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her tan robe. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears dull white sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He takes great joy in being the best Assassin in town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Assassin work with an outfit from a few towns over. Assassin work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Felgrat never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shamash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
