Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Ortegar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ortegar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Sage; and she wants to get laid

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a Beggar, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety
