History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Portia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. This search led him directly into Brewer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Brewer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
