Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Heward enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her hammer with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Syllin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Syllin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
