At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sai use. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Expand her business; and sabotage a competitor
