History: Heather was born with her father's beautiful face. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by her family

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She worked as a nervous Apothecary and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he prefers to wear grey pants and tee shirts. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He has violet eyes and a grey hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Carter business.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to unite with his sister

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears just a black suit. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Carpenter mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
