History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born in the west. Rael was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Slave Trader. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Sybil never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wishes to resurrect an old love
