Upon awakening, Hatae discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hatae fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a axe, but if one is not available she will default to her spear, and is pretty ugly. She wears her blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jacoba was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
