History: Ghesh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Brewer like his mother before him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Serpent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Born to a Butcher, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
