He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Randal was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
