History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nella was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
