History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Ownka was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Rael was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Priest. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, she wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Cairn managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
