History: Valida lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has achieved small success as a Miner.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Through the years after Silaqui was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Silaqui's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mindartis studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
