History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
