History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Eran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Luthra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Luthra was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
