Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the north. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Azaki enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Jarana learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she is wracked by social anxiety
