History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull yellow iron scale mail, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'5" when asserting himself. He wears a colorful flower in his silver hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anverth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anverth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Farideh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Farideh was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has wavy red hair. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Quarion lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his son
