History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ethereal studied abroad. Ethereal was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Marshal. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Locksmith. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. During his travels, Rolf and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rolf discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rolf fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
