History: Mugrunden was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Detective father left him crippled. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her youth she was a Mason, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She now mingles about in high society.
