She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She tends to her Architect job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
