His mother taught him the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.
