History: Born to a Detective, her father struggled to pay the bills. Birel was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tailor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Gale was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a black coat. Her black crest is lengthy. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gold eyes.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired her part-time. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Hethress learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Doctor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: 4'2" and muscular, this western man wears a brown top hat and brown clothes. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. During his travels, Rangrim and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rangrim discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rangrim fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the west
