She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Syllin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nurkara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nurkara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and many dire rats want her driven away

History: She is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is red and curly. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
