History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Gennal's homeland. Gennal decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Keyleth is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Keyleth lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Keyleth was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
