He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sariel embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Sariel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'0" and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull black iron scale mail. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Eiravel hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He became a Blacksmith soon after.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business
