The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Whurdred took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Kristryd never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
