History: Vani was born the youngest of three triplets. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Vani alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by her family

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rohesia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rohesia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rohesia. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to end his boredom

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
