History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was born in the west. Through the years after Cask was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cask's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Cloud learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Gardener soon after.
