Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Curran isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Zook lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Brewer mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso, and is pretty ugly. She sports a flattop fur cut. Her green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cloak is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Cloak hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Miller who has hired her part-time. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ilde has worked very hard to control her curse. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
