History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Drifting grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Tordrid alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
