History: Mantus was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Ploughman. He's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Fax learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult
