History: Gifted from a young age, Modean studied abroad. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His ears are large.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rangrim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rangrim. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Umpen has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Oriel isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a simple blue robe with grey stripes complete with hood. Her chestnut hair is still thick. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bethrynna will drive conversation. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Bethrynna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and sabotage a competitor
