Through the years after Pyntle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pyntle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She bought a dagger and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
