Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Direcris's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Direcris does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Direcris was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Jeweler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Kilia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Kilia was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
