History: Thorpe hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gifted student he started as a Assassin, but he got bored and became a Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
