Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Veloptima was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Slave Trader, but he got bored and became a Adventurer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
