He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. The war was a terrible time for her, and Flask does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and many orcs want her driven away

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulblyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the south. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ulblyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Galiena hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Hunter for the past few years.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
